Welcome to the world of experts.
“The activists have become experts and the experts, activists, and, like at the conclusion of George Orwell’s Animal Farm, we look from activist to expert to woke idiot, and we can’t tell which is which, but we know that we don’t trust a single damn one of them.”

The Green Hornet was my favorite as a kid, despite my peer group being into Batman or Superman. I dug a guy who appeared to operate outside the law and with the incomparable Brice Lee as Kato, was totally bad ass. I will make this community as conservatively eclectic as possible with a range of topics. Pull up a chair, a beer, what have you and enjoy.
52 years ago tonight….
The summer of 1974 was when the rock gods came down to play. The Who, Bob Dylan and the Band, Grateful Dead, David Bowie, ZZ Top, the Eagles, among others. I was working but I was putting my hand in my parents’ pockets quite often that summer.
On certain songs, I always think of CSN as Neil Young’s backup band. This is one of them. The harmonies as well as Stephen Stills’ outstanding piano work makes this the best version of this song out there, IMHO. Enjoy.
