Why the GOP sucks. With a few notable exceptions, no message, no swagger, no balls. If the best we can do is Cocaine Mitch and Kevin the Koont, we’re fecked.
“say what you will about team donkey, but at least they have a vision. it may not be one you like (i certainly do not) but they have one and they can state it as a simple positive. they have a whole pile of stuff they are trying to do, agendas, laws. they have a dream to sell, a set of tangible plans to put forward, and villains to vanquish. and some seem to like these ideas. it’s “something.”
and the GOP brought “nothing.”

The Green Hornet was my favorite as a kid, despite my peer group being into Batman or Superman. I dug a guy who appeared to operate outside the law and with the incomparable Brice Lee as Kato, was totally bad ass. I will make this community as conservatively eclectic as possible with a range of topics. Pull up a chair, a beer, what have you and enjoy.
52 years ago tonight….
The summer of 1974 was when the rock gods came down to play. The Who, Bob Dylan and the Band, Grateful Dead, David Bowie, ZZ Top, the Eagles, among others. I was working but I was putting my hand in my parents’ pockets quite often that summer.
On certain songs, I always think of CSN as Neil Young’s backup band. This is one of them. The harmonies as well as Stephen Stills’ outstanding piano work makes this the best version of this song out there, IMHO. Enjoy.
