Don’t expect rebellion.
Don’t plan for retribution.
Don’t wait for justice.
And don’t anticipate any tides will turn in humanity’s favor anytime soon.
No mass events will ever take place as long as the vast majority of Americans have yet to be unplugged.

The Green Hornet was my favorite as a kid, despite my peer group being into Batman or Superman. I dug a guy who appeared to operate outside the law and with the incomparable Brice Lee as Kato, was totally bad ass. I will make this community as conservatively eclectic as possible with a range of topics. Pull up a chair, a beer, what have you and enjoy.
52 years ago tonight….
The summer of 1974 was when the rock gods came down to play. The Who, Bob Dylan and the Band, Grateful Dead, David Bowie, ZZ Top, the Eagles, among others. I was working but I was putting my hand in my parents’ pockets quite often that summer.
On certain songs, I always think of CSN as Neil Young’s backup band. This is one of them. The harmonies as well as Stephen Stills’ outstanding piano work makes this the best version of this song out there, IMHO. Enjoy.
