During the early days of the pandemic, an emerging groupthink influence was especially strong. New social norms were being formed around the perceived risks of a new virus. Anyone questioning this risked being branded as an outsider, so the urge to ‘go along with things’ was psychologically powerful for those with a strong inclination to social approval and ‘positive attention’.

The Green Hornet was my favorite as a kid, despite my peer group being into Batman or Superman. I dug a guy who appeared to operate outside the law and with the incomparable Brice Lee as Kato, was totally bad ass.
